2018 Sheffield: ‘Alcohol & Recovery’

Two separate one day events,  bookable as one day conferences, take place in June 2018.

NDSAG

On Thursday 7th June 2018 at the University of Sheffield the 42nd New Directions annual conference will focus on an exploration of ‘recovery’ in the context of the many  experiences of alcohol use and current service provision landscape. An all day conference that offers a mixture of research, agency and personal presentations.

Venue: The Edge, Endcliffe, 34 Endcliffe Crescent, Sheffield. S10 3ED.

PhD and Early Career Research Workshop: Wednesday 6th  June 

The main conference will be preceded by a PhD and Early Research Career workshop.

This event is an interactive workshop format (rather than just presentations) and is designed to a) enable informed participant discussion and b) develop peer networks.

Places for the workshop are limited and cost £25 each, including lunch. For those early career peer researchers booking into this workshop can also book into the main conference day for an additional £25.
